About me
Hi, I’m Rafath—a licensed psychologist with over six years of experience walking alongside adolescents and adults on their journeys through anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and the quieter (but no less important) quests for personal growth.
My approach is eclectic and deeply human. I draw from mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and ACT, but at the heart of my work are humanistic and narrative practices. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” people, but about holding space where stories can be retold, insights can unfold, and healing can take root.
I offer a trauma-informed, queer-affirmative space, a place where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered to step into their own balance and wholeness.
Beyond the therapy room, life keeps me on my toes. I live in Dubai, balancing the chaos and joy of raising two beautiful children, managing home, and still finding time for self-care, family, and community well-being.
Earlier, I worked in Hyderabad with Pause for Perspective, where I facilitated student well-being programs with the Live Love Laugh Foundation, led safe spaces to deconstruct dominant discourses, and supervised budding therapists stepping into the field. Community has always been my anchor, and I continue to carry that spirit wherever I go.
At heart, I am a true Hyderabadi-grounded, spirited, and a charmer—and a Libran by nature, forever seeking balance in everything I do.
